utility uniform. When worn, it will be worn beneath the camouflage utility coat/shirt.
11. Coat, Camouflage Cold Weather. The camouflage cold weather coat (field jacket) is
authorized for wear with the camouflage utility uniform.
12. Scarf, Wool Green. During the winter uniform period, appropriate authority may authorize the
green wool scarf for wear with the field jacket. When worn, the scarf will overlap to form a
"V" at the base of the throat, hiding the garment beneath.
13. Hood, Extreme Cold Weather. During the winter uniform period, appropriate authority may
authorize the cold weather hood for wear withthe field jacket.
14. Gloves, Shell. The black leather glove shells, with or without the olive green wool liners, are
authorized for wear with the camouflage utility uniform.
15. Coat, All Weather. The all weather coat is authorized for wear with the camouflage utility
uniform.
16. Extreme Cold Weather Clothing System (ECWCS). The ECWCS camouflage parka and or
trousers are authorized for wear with the camouflage utility uniform.
17. Insignia, Collar. The appropriate rank/rate insignias will be worn on the camouflage utility
coat/shirt by all officers, chief petty officers and petty officers.
a.
Line officers will wear the appropriate bright metal grade insignia on the camouflage
utility shirt collar, in the manner prescribed in reference (a) for wear on working khaki
short sleeve shirt. Subdued devices may be worn for operational or field necessity when
appropriate authority dictates.
b.
Staff corps officers and warrant officers shall wear the appropriate bright metal grade
insignia on the right collar and corps device on the left collar of the camouflage utility
shirt, in the manner prescribed in reference (a) for wear with the working khaki short
sleeve shirt. Subdued devices may be worn for operational or field necessity when
appropriate authority dictates.
c.
Master chief, senior chief and chief petty officers will wear the appropriate subdued
metal collar insignia on the collar of the camouflage utility coat/shirt, in the manner
prescribed in reference (a) for wear on the working khaki short sleeves shirt.
