Criteria. Personnel whoe wear the camouflage utility uniform as their normal working uniform
may wear it to service facilities such as dispensaries, exchanges, commissaries and contract
messing. Per reference (a), the camouflage utility uniform is authorized for travel directly
between work and local residence, which includes contract berthing and Naval Reserve
activities. The camouflage utility uniform is not authorized for normal liberty or individual
travel.
7.
Action
a.
Commands shall take appropriate and continuing action to implement the policies and
procedures outlined in this instruction.
b.
Standards of appearance for all personnel wearing the camouflage utility uniform shall
follow guidance contained in enclosure (1).
