Regional System Mangers and Local System Operators are authorized a workstation for
immediate access to remote and local systems for fault detection, isolation, and
correction. (G-T).

Though a workstation is authorized based on the allowance criteria, when the
opportunity exists to share a workstation (e.g., when an Air Station Maintenance
Officer/Assistant Engineer Officer or Quality Assurance/Inventory Management share a
common work area, or when multiple functions such as Admin/Personnel Officer are
performed by a single individual), the authorized allowance will be reduced
accordingly.
4.
SPECIAL USE COMPUTER: Special use computers such as cluster masters,
communication control servers, Model 40 TTY replacements are considered dedicated
resources and will be included in the unit allowance list in addition to workstations.

Cluster masters - dedicated to system administration, electronic mail, and/or special
pupose central servers (e.g. providing CD-ROM access to a number of members).
