Vision
A future state for an organization determined by the leadership. It is
normally articulated in a vision statement that is recognizable by the entire
organization. It aligns an organization so that everyone can work in the same
direction. It is differentiated from purpose. Purpose is our current roles and
responsibility. Mission is how an organization fulfills its purpose and how
the organization moves toward its vision. WThe many goals of the
organization's subunits should aid in moving the organization toward its
vision.
