(1)
Duty Involving Flying-Proficiency (DIFPRO): The followin aviation
assignments are designated DIFPRO billets:
(a)
Office of Aviation Management, Aviation Facility Management Division
(G-OCA-2), five billets;
(b)
Office of Aeronautical Engineering, Program Management Division (G-
SEA-1), four billets;
(c)
Aviation Safety Division (G-WKS-1), three billets.
(2)
The following procedures will be followed by personnel assigned DIFPRO:
(a)
Chief, Aviation Facility Management Division, Office of Aviation
Management (G-OCA-2) will sign the aviator's flight log book in lieu of
a commanding officer to meet the requirements of reference (c);
(b)
All DIFPRO aviators who fail to meet the semi-annual minimums
prescribed by reference (c) will report such failure by memorandum via
the chain of command, to Chief, Office of Aviation Management (G-
OCA) within 30 days of the end of the semi-annual period;
(c)
Upon the execution of DIFPRO orders, an aviator shall immediately
revert to, and maintain, a designation no higher than copilot in one type
of aircraft.
(3)
Duty Including Flying-Denied (DIFDEN): All rotational billets and all aviation
billets not otherwise designated.
(4)
Assignments to other agencies:
(a)
Aviator Exchange Program: Assignments will normally be designated as
DIFOPS.
(b)
Assignments to other agencies or services not as part of an exchange
program (such as Liaison Officer) will be designated in accordance with
the requirement of the program and will be either DIFPRO or DIFDEN.
(c)
Assignment to other services as a Flight Instructor will be designated
DIFOPS
