Within 1-year after the last day of the 10-year period; or,
(2)
Within 1-year from the last day of their disability.
b.
Members who are enrolled in an educational institution when the period of entitlement
expires will have their entitlement extended as follows:
(1)
To the end of the quarter or semester when the member is enrolled in an
institution which operates on a quarter or semester basis and the period of
entitlement expires during the quarter or semester;
(2)
To the end of the course, or for 12 weeks, whichever is less, when the member is
enrolled in an institution that does not regularly operate on a quarter or semester
basis and the period of entitlement expires after a major portion of the course is
completed.
