Refer to the Advancement Checklists (Tab 6). Determine what
your advancement options are internal to the Coast Guard and
what you need to accomplish. Next, write your goals on the
worksheets (Tab 7) and list the steps of how you plan to
accomplish them. This will enable a CDA, ESO, or supervisor to
better understand your individual needs, goals, and objectives.
